  1. Wow... Um PVC wont hold a good vacuum. It will test as it does, but it will release particles of the pipe in and make a dirty vacuum. What are you use to accelerate the electrons? And how do you know you'll get to ISEF? I mean an accelerator is okay, but what's it's point? Besides, electrons are easy, they were all done in the fifties. Heavy particles are where it's at.

  2. Well i think the guy who made it was trying to prove that even with household materials you can create something that could be thought off as a particle accelerator.
    Maybe not as good as the real thing but quite valid.
